The director / jonas when I was about 13 years old my buddies peter, tony and I used to make movies with our parents super-8 cameras. it was always some bizzare story....I am a big fan of movies...I enjoy most of them...even the crappy ones, as long as it takes me somewhere else..I love movies like "lord of the rings" and "The Matrix" because of the technology. Kill Bill I like. Blazing Saddles is great....Anyway, when we did the Silver Mountain / Roses&Champagne record,I wanted to do a video for it and talked to a director about my ideas...he said: -no problem..just cough up $50.000 or so and we can start shooting. I said: that's a lot of money to give to a stranger, so I decided to do it myself...about $2000 later, I had the same video finished and done...I found ways to work around it. In the mid-90's I bought a 133mhz comp. with 32mb of ram, a bravado 1000 card...puuuh! that cost me $4500...ouch! today I would be lucky if I could get 50 bucks for it...anyway, my point is, that I now was "set up" to do everything in my home. After a year or so I was in the process of finishing up "Classica" and decided to do a video for it...I was playing around with bluescreens and tweaked pictures and stuff in photoshop and premiere....the result you can see in the videos section after that I got more in to it and did a few videos here and there for various bands. In the year 2000 I wrote a shortfilm called "Husband and wife" and did everything in it. except playing the "wife part" (played by christina richardsson) who also assisted me in most parts. So, from nothing I wrote, produced, directed, filmed, did sound-fx, music, editing and also starred in it. It was very fun. it's a black comedy. check out samples. It will be available here shortly.. I just gonna touch it up now since I got better and have better equipment nowdays. in the beginning of 2004 I wrote a feature. I don't know yet if I will make it myself or if I shall try to sell it. I like doing stuff myself, because then I know, it will happen. That's the kind of guy I am. |
